Colossus rebild: 1024x683
The colossus was a gigantic vacuum tube computer that was used to crack the "Lorenz" cipher, also used by the Germans. Apparently this thing (which was built before the ENIAC) takes like a Pentium II at 800mhz to simulate, which is pretty impressive! In category Oxford '05.
